March 2019 Fundraiser

Our Latest fundraiser on 9 March at Haverhill Arts Centre featured a host of talented artists, from the Haverhill based Jasmine Faye; Shannon Elsden & band; Moody Swing Things; and Saving Scarlett to Norwich crowd pleasers Young States.

The evening kicked off with Jasmine Faye who is slowly building a repertoire of catchy original songs and covers from the likes of Paulo Nutini, the crowd were in awe of Jasmines vocal abilities and command of the stage. Quickly followed by Shannon Elsden and band who introduced a new guitarist for a crowd pleasing performance of songs both old and new.

Experienced musicians Moody Swing things to showcase their fuzzed-up tunes and twisted humorous lyrics. Young states were the penultimate performer of the night and did not disappoint with a strong display of their talent.

Saving Scarlett rounded off the evening with a rare performance of their full debut album ‘hourglass’ a heady mix of punchy riffs, melodic tones and powerful vocals. Their choice of punk rock covers flowed effortlessly with the rest of the set.
